Googles Refuses to comply with Department of Justice Order
The US Department of Justice has ordered Yahoo, AOL, MSN and Google to turn over search information. Everyone except Google is complying. Google objects to the request not on privacy grounds as you might expect, but rather on the ground that the request is too "broad and burdensome". I think that ultimately, this is a battle Google will loose but at least they aren't trying to be the government's bitch.
